10/10 stay! Lovely place
10.0Clean and spacious room with comfortable bed, great shower, aircon, beautiful garden area with view of monkeys next door, and a great shared space (lounge, dining area, clean big kitchen). The property manager is so helpful and kind. The toaster was not working on day 1, so a new toaster was bought by our day 2. There is a washing machine to use for free and the property manager even helped by hanging up our washing for us while we were out. One note- you will need to drive to accom from beach/main ahanghama area so your own transport would be helpful.

10.0I had such a wonderful stay here - it truly felt like a home away from home. I originally planned to stay for 3 weeks, but ended up staying for almost a month and a half, which says everything about how special this place is. Kamal, the owner, is amazing, and Danuka, who takes care of the house, is simply incredible - like a walking sunshine :) always kind, helpful, and there whenever you need anything, he really made my stay even more memorable. The house itself has everything you could wish for: filtered water, complimentary laundry service (which is such a rare and thoughtful touch!), and every now and then, Danuka would even prepare fresh juice for us. The house also has a great shared space with large tables and a couch, making it easy to work from there, along with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect - just a 5-minute walk to the beach, with restaurants, shops, and everything you might need close by. Out of all the places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, this is by far the best one. I’m truly grateful to everyone in this house for making my time there so special, and I sincerely hope I’ll have the chance to come back one day.
