Hemos tenido una estancia maravillosa en casa de Sajith y su familia. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El alojamiento es perfecto para desconectar y vivir una experiencia auténtica en plena naturaleza. Estar rodeados de selva, escuchar a los elefantes por la noche…nos ha encantado. La habitación es cómoda, grande, limpia y tiene todo lo necesario. Además, el desayuno y la opción de poder cenar ahí en plena naturaleza (con fuego alrededor, todo muy auténtico) ha sido de lo mejor de estos días. La comida casera y local cocinada por la madre de Sajith está riquísima. Lo mejor ha sido la hospitalidad de Sajith. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos con cualquier cosa, nos explicó muchísimas cosas sobre la cultura de Sri Lanka, nos dio muy buenos consejos y se preocupó en todo momento de que disfrutáramos al máximo de nuestra estancia. Es un lugar que recomendamos al 100% a cualquiera que quiera conocer el lado más auténtico del país. ¡Muchísimas gracias a toda la familia por hacernos sentir tan bien! Sin duda, es un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.

お部屋も広く、ジェフリーバワ建築が好きなオーナーがこだわった、喧騒から離れ自然と調和した静かな環境で滞在できます。またお母さんが作ってくださる食事がとても美味しかったです。夕飯は到着後お願いしたところ、1時間後くらいにいただけました、 オーナーは英語が堪能で、夜ご飯を食べながらお話をしたり、翌日も自然豊かな現地の方達の生活を感じられる近所の散策に連れて行ってくださり、さまざまな植物や野菜、果物の説明、池やシーギリヤロックが遠くに見られる高台？に連れて行ってくださったりと、 とても癒されて満足度の高い時間でした。

Sajith is the most incredible host. He has designed and built the most amazing spacious cabins with aircon, hot water and amazing terraces right in the jungle. He goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable, answer any questions about the local area, book any activities you would like to do (safaris etc) and drive you to the rocks and cave temples. He and his family cook the most incredible breakfasts and dinners. The location is amazing and the peace and quiet is special. I would urge every person visiting Sigiriya to stay here and stay for a few nights so you can enjoy everything this town has to offer. Thank you Sajith!

朝食も夕食もスリランカの伝統的な料理でボリュームもあり、とても美味しかったです！ スコールで夕食を食べに出れない時に、急遽作ってくれた夕食も本当に美味しかったです！ また、現金がなくなって時、近くのATMまで連れて行ってくれたり、宿の近くのビュースポットや泳げる湖にも連れて行ってくれたりと、とにかく、宿に関わる人皆とてもやさしく、おもてなしをしてくれるあたたい家族でした！

Grand Freedom is much more than a homestay: it is a magical place surrounded by jungle and untouched nature, where a deep sense of peace can be felt at every moment. The location is very convenient, close to Sigiriya and the main attractions, as well as the bus stop. The room was spacious, welcoming, extremely clean, and carefully maintained in every detail. What truly makes this place special is Sajith. Traveling through India and Sri Lanka, Sajith is one of the most honest, respectful, and trustworthy person I have met. His care and attention come from a genuine love for nature and a deep respect for people. He is always available for anything you might need: whether it is information, help, or simply a friendly conversation. Also at 5 in the morning! Spending time with him and his family was the most beautiful part of my stay in Sigiriya. They are incredibly kind hearted people with a warm and generous spirit. Also, breakfast and dinner are absolutely delicious. I always felt completely safe and at ease during my stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone (solo traveller also!) visiting the area.
