8.0Wonderful stay at Island Cottage Lüderitz! A lovely little guesthouse located on the famous Shark Island, full of charm and designed with a lot of love and attention to detail. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and we were lucky to get the beautiful room upstairs with an amazing view for both sunrise and sunset. Waking up and ending the day with those views was truly special. One of the best things about the location is that the lighthouse sunset spot is only about a 3-minute walk away — perfect for an evening stroll and a relaxing sundowner while enjoying the incredible coastal scenery. The guesthouse is also very conveniently located. The drive to restaurants at the harbour, including the great Portuguese fish restaurant, as well as the gas station and Spar supermarket, takes only a few minutes. Overall, it’s a perfect place to spend a couple of days in Lüderitz and explore the beautiful coastline and surrounding area. Cozy atmosphere, great location, and very welcoming hosts — we really enjoyed our stay!
