The accommodation was fine but the service was disappointing.
5.0The sitting room, bedroom and bathroom were clean, spacious and peaceful.
− We could make hot drinks in the dining room, but there was no provision in our room. There was no anti-slip mat in the bath so I was unable to have a shower as I had a bad back and couldn't risk slipping. The owners texted to say they wouldn't be there when we arrived and although they arrived home a couple of hours later, they showed no interest in our presence. I didn't see them at all. They forgot to tell the breakfast lady that we needed breakfast at 8.30 so she had only just arrived at that time. We had to have a cold breakfast as we couldn't wait for her to organise cooking. It wasn't what we wanted since we were going to be busy all day. The house was unattended when we left.

10.0Warmly welcomed, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast well cooked and beautifully presented. Options to suit all tastes. The Garden Room was spacious and comfortable. Most peaceful and attractive grounds.
