8.0Very welcoming host.House was immaculate.Excellent quality bed, comfortable mattress.Bedlinen and towels like new.Views and location were spectacular.Very peaceful. Breakfast was generous ,fresh and tasty.
− It was a little further than I thought from the castle where we had celebrations over the 2 days, requiring us to get a few taxis. The bed was a double , which is smaller than we are used to,but matched the room size.

10.0Andresna House is a beautiful place located in the heart of Roscommon countryside overlooking a beautiful lake. The warm welcome received from the host was fantastic. The house itself is beautifully renovated with gorgeous art work and stunning comfortable rooms. The breakfast was homemade and served with a smile! The granola, juices, jams, bread, eggs, everything was delicious and perfectly presented. The dining room was bright and cheerful with gorgeous windows and views of the lake and gardens. The walled garden at the back of the property was a joy to behold. I really felt at home here and like the lady of the Manor! I am looking forward to returning in the future.

Please note that pet dogs can only be brought to our two rooms with separate entrances. These are A) 'Double or Twin Room with View' and B) 'Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Garden View'. A one time fee of €20.00 per dog every three days period or part thereof applies. Access is restricted to the great outdoors and your accommodations. On the grounds of Andresna House, dogs must be kept on the lead at all time. It is also required to clean up after your dog. To respect our guests who do not travel with pets, dogs are not allowed in the common rooms or dining room. Some dogs do get lonely and upset in new surroundings so we ask that they are not left unattended in your room during the day.
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the rooms as well as for arising repair costs caused by pet dogs.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
