The garden suite was a wonderful surprise, far larger than expected, with three rooms, two bathrooms, access to a washing machine and a shared kitchen. It felt like having our own private property, especially as there was only one other guest during our stay. The housekeeper was an absolute gem. She prepared breakfast each morning, tidied beautifully, and was incredibly sweet with our 2 year old daughter. The grounds are stunning. The pool is gorgeous and completely surrounded by nature, with trees, valley views, butterflies, bumblebees and hummingbirds. It felt genuinely calm and connected to the natural world. The team was extremely responsive on WhatsApp and full of helpful tips. We also loved that guests get access to the La Foce gardens just up the road, a real treat with a lovely gift shop for souvenirs. Location is excellent, very close to Pienza and Montepulciano, and there is a great restaurant nearby with a discount for first-time guests staying at the property.

− No sweeping Tuscan rolling hill views directly from the house itself, though you can catch a glimpse from the pool.

We got the entire place for ourselves and it was great! Clean comfy, smell like flowers with great breakfast and beautiful view parking and everything

− The pool was full of bees and bugs but they clean every morning so it’s not their fault just the summer But besides that the pool is also amazing

Lovely stay with plenty of space for 10 people. We enjoyed the pool, the oven in which we made our own pizza, the facilities in general. Lovely! The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating and we appreciated the communication and flexibility.

− We weren’t aware of the fact that if you book the breakfast included option you are not allowed to use the kitchen. Unfortunately this wasn’t stated clearly enough on the booking.com website. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to still do so, with the compromise of cleaning everything up the evening before. Was somewhat more stressful than necessary for us, would have loved to have this information while booking to choose accordingly.

Great place to stay with a nice view of Amiata Mountain. And most of all there is Elena our butler she is amazing. Prepared breakfast every morning and cleaned the house everyday and help us .

Abbiamo amato tutto della Residenza Montauto. Dalla stanza spaziosa e pulitissima alla deliziosa colazione preparata da Elena, la piscina, la vista, la natura. Davvero un sogno! Un ringraziamento speciale ad Elena che è stata dolcissima ed accogliente durante tutto il soggiorno. Speriamo di tornare presto. Ludovica & Nick
