Disappointing

The hosts were very kind and clearly tried their best to make guests feel welcome. They prepared breakfast with care every morning, gladly made coffee on request, and were generous with portions — especially with the eggs.

− Unfortunately, our experience in Lesence Major was not what we had hoped for. The place was not very clean, and there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The water had a rusty smell and taste, which made it difficult to use even for brushing teeth. There was no kettle in the room, which was inconvenient, and the noise insulation was very poor — we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. The guesthouse is located right next to a road, so traffic noise was also an issue. Another inconvenience was having to climb up to the third floor every time via old, creaky stairs, which was tiring and noisy, especially with luggage or children. Also, be prepared to pay in cash only — cards are not accepted. The photos looked much better than the reality. It felt misleading and disappointing overall. We had expected a peaceful countryside stay, but sadly, the conditions didn’t match our expectations.

Everything. The exceptional approach from the owners, calm and nice place with many activities to do, great breakfast, nice rooms. I would definitely recommend this place :)

Not a disaster but not going back

- The environement is amazing - breakfast is super tasty and the choice is really wide - we didn’t have time to use wellness but it looked very nice

− - breakfast starts at 8:30!! that is super late. even if they were willing to help and prepared breakfast for us at 8am, it was too late for us and it’s definitely not a standard - the room was not vacumed, or at least not properly - you could see the bathroom was not cleaned properly (dirt in corners) and the shower drain was not well functioning - the communication of the host/owner: I will try to thunk it’s the language barrier or style of communication which might be in hungarian and when translated it sounds weird, otherwise I would have to say he was very rude and sarcastic

Outstanding hotel near Balaton

The hotel is very lovely, there are little pool, steam, garden seats, day beds, fire pitch outside. They provide wellness area which include a very good side of swimming pool, jacuzzi for 5 people, sauna and exercise facilities. The staffs are very helpful and lovely. I am impressed with the breakfast with great coffee, buffet bar in Hungarian style and your choice of fresh cooked eggs. In the night we can see lots of stars as the sky is clear from city lights. This place is very good for family with little children as they have playground and trampoline and lots of toys.

− Not kind of don't like but please be aware that they provide the WiFi but might be cannot use it in the room as the wall is too thick. But just come out and sit outside in their garden.
