Een zeer plezierige ervaring

We kregen een uiterst vriendelijke en gastvrije ontvangst van de eigenaren met thee en vlaai in hun prachtige herenhuis vlak tegenover het treinstation van de miljoenenlijn in Zuid-Limburg. De kamer was net groot genoeg voor twee personen met hoge plafonds, een heerlijk kingsize bed, een bureau met (yes!) 2 goede fauteuils en uitzicht op het achterterras en het Limburgse heuvellandschap. Goede, ruime douche. Het ontbijt was overvloedig en heerlijk met een warm gerechtje en zelf afgebakken broodjes. Hoewel niet naar de kooktijd voor de ontbijteitjes was gevraagd, waren ze voor ons precies goed. De 7 kamers zijn op de 1e en 2e verdieping, via trappen bereikbaar. Op de begane grond gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en de aparte ontbijtruimte, alles aangenaam ingericht. Al met al een zeer plezierige ervaring.

− De natte ruimte bij de wasbak was in onze kamer erg krap. Het schuifdeursysteem van de badkamer was op zich handig ruimtebesparend maar maakte wel wat lawaai, vervelend als je er ’s nachts uit moet. Ophangrekken om handdoeken te drogen zouden ook handig zijn geweest, nu was er 1 klein haakje.
