Perfect romantic country getaway for my partner and I
9.0kitchen facilities were great, very modern and all the necessary appliances. Popcorn maker and coffee machine were a nice touch. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom - bath tub and shower - was very nice. The lounge area was comfy and the TV having lots of streaming options available was good for a cosy night in front of the TV. The fact that the cottage was apparently "off-grid" was very impressive and great to know that our stay was 'low impact'.
− The lighting within the property was impressive; however maybe a little too sophisticated and slightly confusing at times trying to find the right switches, but not a huge issue, got it figured out in the end.

10.0This stay was amazing and the best of our ten days in England and Scotland! We were met by Pedro, who was an awesome host and a very considerate tour guide of the cottage and property. The property is next to none - it's beautiful and extremely well maintained. It felt very private. The interior furnishings were lovely and there were many little comfort amenities included. Access to streaming services, temperature controls, lighting controls - great smart house features. There was a cozy cabin atmosphere well mixed with modern technology. The outdoor patio space was lovely. 100% would stay again - sadly didn't get time to use the cool looking tub!
− The smart feature that is installed in the ceiling above the sofa had a very bright and small light that did not turn off when the room was dark. Just a personal comfort pet peeve when trying to relax. The only other thing that wasn't necessarily a negative but was inconvenient was the need to charge a large deposit before arrival. It was personally inconvenient because my bank kept seeing it as fraudulent activity and wouldn't pre-authorize it. There ended up being quite a lot of back and forth while my partner and I were traveling and trying to enjoy our day before arriving at the cottage. I would recommend charging the deposit at the time of room booking to avoid it interrupting vacation travel.
