Lovely weekend away!
8.0Lovely being right on the canal. The beds were really comfy. The house comes equipped with everything you could want or need. Owner replied quickly when had questions, great value for money. Hot tub is great!!!
− May seem small but need to be aware. Car park is very very muddy when rains. Both sets of carpets as much as they have been cleaned are dirty, all our socks were filthy. Portable heaters in all bedrooms which isn’t ideal. The logs provided for log burners are far too big making it hard to keep it going, living room became a little chilly. The house sleeps 8 but when all 8 people need to use a shower there isn’t enough hot water. We were without hot water twice during our stay, on two separate days.

− the dinning table has an issue, its not stable, keeps rotating and moving. The house is a bit out of the way. no restaurants close by. the most important thing I didn't like or had an horrible experience was that check out time is 10am and there were two ladies who knocked on the door at 0950. it felt they were there to get us out. I understand there might be guest coming in later. but havent had this experience ever in my whole life. We have just been back from Sweden 3 days ago and NIL experiences like this. We were ready to leave anyway so wasn't a problem. I did write to the house keeper and request late check out qwith or withour extra payment. But this experience felt like EVICTION. very rude and bad. We were ready to leave anyway so wasn't a problem.
