Horrible experience/ horrible management

− I booked the room weeks out through Booking and called the hotel at the same time just to double confirm availability. When I arrived, after having to call 4 phone numbers from a sign posted on the door, I finally reached someone not even on site. I was informed no room would be available and my confirmation would not be honored because no rooms were available because the housekeeper did not show up. Only 2 cars were in the parking lot. I then booked a room withthe only other hotel open in town to realize the owner and manager were the same as this hotel. I was charged $35 more for the new room vs the one I confirmed, and offered no other recourse. This owner/manager of Regency Hotel and Quality Inn seem to be runnimg a scam to force patrons to the more expensive hotel.
