8.0Would have given it a 5 but the street noise is so loud that not even the ear plugs that were provided by the hotel could drown out the noise. Didn’t sleep all night.

6.0The room was very clean and cute. The bed was very comfortable! ( Probably the nicest of any) The room was located walkable to restuarants, shops,Talulas Table and bars. The only negative is that we did not sleep well because the room is on the corner of a busy street with cars and tractor trailers about 10 feet away. You can definitely hear the noise of the engines inside the room. My suggestion would be to upgrade the window or soundproof somehow because it impacts your stay.

10.0Kennett has gained a wonderful, unique boutique hotel right in the heart of town. I remember when this building was an antique map and book shop. The charming building has been completely renovated into lovely rooms with everything you’d need to be comfortable. We will be back!

10.0My daughter and I love to read and The Bookhouse Hotel is our dream come true! The room is amazing and you can see the effort the owners put in to make it cozy and comfortable. Plus as an added bonus there are lots of restaurants and shops just a block away. We are already planning our return trip.
