10.0It was a great location. The swimming and boat docks were in good working order. The beds were a little uncomfortable but we managed to sleep. We had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. Our host was very attentive when we had questions about the dock. I would recommend this location, and actually already have to my friends.

10.0The Faraway Cottage was the best find! After playing musical lodging…I found the perfect little getaway!! Quaint and charming! Coffee on the deck in the mornings…my favorite part of the day!! It was so relaxing and peaceful!! I hope to stay again!!
Disappointing sleep
2.0The mattress was soft and sloped to the middle. We were given a choice to move to the other bed. It was jammed in a corner and only accessible from one side. We are older and this was not possible. We had booked 3 nights and left after one very short on sleep night. We removed the sheets per the instructions and found dirt underneath the sheets and staining on the mattress.

A bit chilly
6.0The area is beautiful. Couldn’t get the heater to work properly. So it was a bit chilly. My husband did want to watch a little t.v. but the sound kept messing up. The screen door was broken and my husband was very concerned about the tape around all the outlets. He didn’t feel it was safe so we didn’t stay a second night. However, if you can get passed all that, it has a nice deck, the lake is just a few feet away and it’s just very pretty and peaceful.
