Beautiful but......
4.0All of us were so excited for our stay at Idaho Springs Cabin but unfortunately, the road leading to the property suffered washouts and damage leading to the house. In a recommended 4WD vehicle with lift kit, it took us 25 minutes to arrive at the house - not what one ever imagined as a travel time throughout the day. Although splendid views, the property outdoors was hardly to little maintained. The interior of the house was beautiful, however we were met with molded toilets and excrement. Not willing to drive for 2 hours a day to and from the house for various excursions in the valley, we left after the first night. We contacted the owners/property managers for which we did not hear from until I heard from Evolve.com, a sub-renting firm under hotels.com. No partial reimbursement was entertained. You can have the most beautiful property in the mountains, but unless you offer your clients a safe route to what should be a clean destination, you should not be renting.
