Cute Home In the Heart of Galveston
10.0My husband had to work in Galveston and this was perfect for him. It was only a 5 minute drive to the office. I tagged along. Place was well kept and clean. Walls are thin but it is an old home and you can hear everything outside. The evenings were pretty much quite though you could hear a dog barking nearby and construction across the street by 8 o'clock a.m. They're building a new high school. I was able to sleep in a little on Sunday since there was no construction and the dog didn't have anyone to bark at. It was nice to be able to sleep in a little. Beds were comfortable. It was a beautiful weekend. The weather was perfect and not too crowded out in town since no special events. It was perfect. My only suggestion is you may need new furniture in the backyard. The yard was well kept but the furniture was in pretty bad shape. That was my only negative but everything else was perfect. Great communication, clean home, in a great location. If my husband has to work in Galveston if this home is available we would stay again.

10.0The property owner was very responsive. The little house was a good option to staying the day before a cruise. The area in Galveston is historic. The house had every thing you would need to stay a few days or weeks. It was fully furnished.
