8.0A cute cabin that’s only a 10-15min drive into downtown Big Bear. Only real knocks on the place: 1. Heat was turned on when we arrived (visited in August) so it was 84 degrees inside. Cooled down nicely later on once we turned that off and opened some windows. No AC. 2. Patio has a great view and is a great spot to hangout. Downside was it was a mess. Sap on the deck and on the chairs, as well as cobwebs. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up in a long time. Wiped it down when we went out there, but would’ve liked that to have already been clean.

8.0The Cabin was amazing. What would have made this stay 5/5 is if it’s kitchen light was working. The water in the bathrooms also drained slowly. Also there was only a bottle of cheap Dial shampoo available. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, dental hygiene. A hair dryer was provided though. Lastly, you have to clean your own trash and dump it. I thought that was weird. Should be the cleaning crew’s job. Never had fo dump my own trash anywhere else I’ve ever stayed before.
