10.0We enjoyed our stay at the Pinecone Palace. It was a great location, close to many hiking trails and lakes as well as to the local restaurants in Seward. Host communicated well and made everything easy.

10.0The unit was one of a variety of cabins on the property. The layout of the cabin was a bit of a surprise as the listing on Expedia didn’t specifically identify the photos for each cabin. What we missed was a chair or two to sit on other than on the bed, but once seeing the size of the unit, it would be difficult to find room for that. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We prepared a meal there. The deck has a lovely forest view which we enjoyed. Management was very responsive.

Nice little cottage outside town
6.0Cute cottage however the lighting was dim. Towels were beige and okay. The loft had a full bed but a small space to stand upright. Bathroom door did not latch and lock. Also bit cramped to place any toiletries. Place did not have a fan just a humidifier for air circulation. It was quiet and peaceful around the property with nice outdoor fire pit area. Location is outside town of Seward in back country road.
