6.0Poor upkeep. The bathroom shower was clogged. We requested the front desk to fix it and were assured that it was. But disappointingly nothing was changed or fixed.

6.0Rooms are decent and provide most things you could need for a visit to Mumbai. Only issues I had was that the tv didn’t work very well and there seemed to be a light coming from the air conditioning unit which I couldn’t find a way to turn off. Room 607 faces a staff only double door which they frequently go in & out of and sadly it slams all throughout the night. One of the evenings there was an event which made the room shake with the vibrations from the music - bring ear plugs! Surprisingly though I had a side airport runway view 👍 Breakfast was a mess, staff & customers were regularly bump into each other due to such a small space for nearly 700 rooms that all seem to include brekkie. I tried several local options but they weren’t to my taste so all I ended up with was toast and tea. Bit of a waste really. Location is fine for the airport, to get to the city it takes almost 1 hour, mostly due to traffic but Uber’s are a plenty.

6.0Check in experience at Aurika was underwhelming. We came to Aurika on a day when Mumbai broke a 100 year record in rainfall. Due to which, roads and trains were closed for a 6 to 8 hours and my 6 hr journey to Mumbai became 18 hour journey. When I mentioned this to Shakshi and requested for a free upgrade, she said that she has already upgraded me, however, when we got the room we had booked. Shakshi was also quite unempathetic to our situation. As we had almost 12 bags, we continuously requested for a room upgrade, but the front desk kept dodging us and didn't assist us. Breakfast experience was okay as well, till the last day when Raj and Sumit impressed us with their service. The housekeeping crew was excellent. Overall an underwhelming experience.
