8.0Hacía mucho calor en la habitación y no tenían aire acondicionado. Además, por desgracia, justo había una plaga de moscas por las que fumigaban pero impedía poder abrir la ventana para que hiciera menos calor. Con aire acondicionado todo hubiera sido perfecto ya que la habitación era comoda y espaciosa.

8.0The hotel is located off the main road between Ahlat and Adilcevaz, directly above the shore of Lake Van. (It is named after the date of the famous battle at nearby Malazgirt!) My room had stunning views over the lake and it was easy to access the beach for a swim. The water feels like silk! There is plenty of parking in front of the hotel. The staff are kind and helpful. Although the restaurant had a limited range of evening meals, I wasn’t too bothered. I thoroughly recommend 1071 Otel.
