We had a terrific time and would highly recommend this lodge!
9.0Beautiful home away from home. Lots of room for the kids to play inside and out. Plenty of sleeping space. Enough bathrooms to take care of all the kiddos and adults. The game table downstairs was convenient for our poker tournament and playing Password, Buzzword, etc. The fire pit was huge with more than enough firewood provided, and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and tell ghost stories around the fire. Everything we needed for cooking was there . . . large pots, crock pots, cookie sheets, griddles, etc.
− We couldn't get the heat to work in the garage area. Checking out at 9 am (although we understand) made for a very rushed departure . . . didn't have time to make breakfast and then get all the dishes done up and the kitchen cleaned, as was required by the checkout list. We ran out of paper towels . . . should have brought our own. The scrub brush for doing dishes was in pretty bad shape. We didn't see a separate bin or container for recycling; maybe we missed that?
