Perfect view and location

The location was perfect for us. We arrived by train and the apartment was within walking distance. No bridges to go over with suitcases. We like walking, it was 15 minutes from St Mark's square or there was a ferry stop close by. Ferry stop for the airport is over one bridge. The entrance was down a little alleyway, so it was away from the crowds-instructions were ok to figure out. The view was perfect from our room window, although it isn't too noisy you do hear the 'traffic' on the canal. Huge room and wardrobe. Bathroom was a good size with a fab shower. There is a communal kitchen area which was nice.

− Curtains could be better to block out the light, they didn't cover the full windows properly. Although we didn't use the sofa bed, it wasn't comfortable sitting on.

A well-located and well-equipped property with stunning Grand Canal views

The location of the property is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station while being tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot. We loved strolling through the vibrant, colourful commercial streets on our way to all the major sightseeing attractions. The view from our window overlooking the Grand Canal was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the downstairs kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

− One minor issue was that there were quite a few mosquitoes on our first night. However, the staff responded promptly and kindly provided mosquito spray and repellents, which we appreciated. To keep the mosquitoes out, we had to keep the bathroom windows closed, and since there is no exhaust fan, the bathroom felt a little musty due to limited ventilation.

The property is very close to the train station so it’s easy to get to carrying luggage

− When we arrived at 3 to check in it was all done digitally . As we opened the door it was dirty and had not been cleaned. It took until 7 to get in the room.

מיקום כמה דקות הליכה מתחנת רכבת. דירה מרווחת ונקיה. הדירה נמצאת ממש על המים. יש מלא תנועה של סירות, מעבורות וגונדולות אז יש גם קצת רעש של תנועה. בעיני זה היה קסום. אפשר להנות מונציה גם מתוך הדירה.

Location close to the train station.

− The very first thing we noticed when we entered the room was a message scratched into the wall saying “DON’T BOOK.” It took us less than five minutes to understand exactly why someone had left that warning. The room was ridiculously cramped, to the point where we barely had enough space to open our luggage. The property was completely misrepresented in the photos, and the advertised canal view was nowhere near what we were led to expect. To put it simply, we were completely catfished! To make matters worse, the cleanliness was extremely poor. The pipe underneath the sink was leaking throughout our entire stay, and most concerning of all, the electrical outlet started smoking whenever we plugged something into it. This is a serious safety hazard and completely unacceptable! My advice? DON'T BOOK! The photos are incredibly misleading, the room is poorly maintained, and the electrical issues make it genuinely unsafe. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else

Bad customer service and a constant sewage smell!

Only location was good

− The room had a constant, unpleasant sewage smell throughout our entire stay, which made it very uncomfortable. The customer service was absolutely terrible. This is a contactless property with practically no human support. They ignored my questions and messages while continuously sending automated reminders about check-in, check-out, taking out the trash, etc. Even worse, I received suspicious phishing messages on WhatsApp from someone pretending to represent the property, with links asking me to complete my booking. This raised serious concerns about the security of my personal information. The property did not respond to my messages through Booking.com, and I had to contact Booking.com customer support to get their attention. They finally responded just one day before our arrival. Terrible communication, zero customer care, and an unpleasant stay. I would definitely not recommend this property or Wonderful Italy.
