Apartment was clean but very limited, no night stands, no luggage racks. Tucked in the alcoves with some stairs to climb to get in. There is a bar very near and people were partying in the ally until late in the evening and porters were cleaning and moving stuff very early in the morning. Beds could use some updating.

The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Vernazza. It’s close to the water. There are some steps to climb, but not too much compared to a lot of the properties here, and it’s inevitable anyway. Pack a backpack ideally or a light suitcase that you can manage up and down a few set of stairs. Inside is very clean. It was ready before check in time. Good information. 2 beds in separate rooms. The double bed in the bedroom would need a new mattress, but it’s the only detail. The shower is good. Hot water and consistent.

My one-night stay at Specciu Cozy Apartment was overall a pleasant experience. This property is ideally located just steps away from Vernazza's main square and marina, making it perfect for exploring this beautiful Cinque Terre village. The apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with modern furnishings while maintaining its authentic charm. The amenities were excellent - comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower, and the wooden flooring throughout gave the space a warm, inviting feel.

− The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 relates to the somewhat complicated process of organizing key pickup with the Cinque Terre Riviera agency. While they do have an office on Via Roma in Vernazza for the key handover and it was a bit stressful given my limited time in the area. Their strict check-in windows also required careful planning of my arrival especially as I was arriving trekking.
