appartamento di recente ristrutturazione, tutto ottimo e perfetto. comodissimo se si viaggia in due persone. noi, nonostante fossimo in due adulti e un ragazzo ci siamo trovati bene con il divano letto in soggiorno. dotato di tutti i confort, aria condizionata, lavatrice, macchinetta del caffè. a metà luglio abbiamo sempre trovato parcheggio in zona, nel raggio di 200 mt. davvero carino e confortevole.

Ett rörigt ställe som ändå var ok.

Mold infestation and hostile host

− I left 1h after checking in. This is an accommodation managed apparently from Milan by a company that has never even seen it. After checking in, I felt a strong smell of mold and humidity, so I opened the windows to let it air out. It didn't help, the strong smell was so infiltrated into the furniture, I looked behind it and the whole wall had yellow spots and the furniture had gray puffy layers of mold. It was cleaned only on the surface and apparently all seemed new. But the mold had been wiped out as the yellow stains on the wall above the bed show. When I called the host to find a solution, like another accommodation, he was very hostile to my claims and told me I should go if I don't like it and that they will never reimburse "random people that complain", he was laughing at me and imitating my voice and bullying me for 20 minutes straight, he was telling me that I have invented this story just to stay 1 hour in the room... eventually I snapped and told him to go to xx. He then started complaining that I have insulted him and that the reason he won't reimburse is cause he felt insulted. I'm writing this because I'm sure many oncology patients like me come stay at this place because it's right next to the big hospital in Messina. Because of this, I had to carry my bags back to the car, stay in the heat and call hotel after hotel until I found one with 1 room left, 20km away. This really harmed me and I'm looking to have legal actions taken against this company. But for all patients at Papardo - should this. And for all the other tourists: this is a tourist trap. He never reimbursed me. He sent money on satispay, where I don't even have an account (and as a money sender you can see that), and is falsely claiming he can't cancel the transfer and I need to wait for a week so he can get his money back. This strategy is so cheap and simply disgusting.
