Location, style of apartment, kitchen and living area. An expensive apartment but worth the money for 5 of us. Beach acces on your doorstep incredible. You can walk safely on the road and head out to the peninsula for a 3-5km loop if you want. Island is small so short drive to shops, restaurants and bars. We walked to campsite for coffee a few times. Hosts great and met us off the ferry and responded to any query. Sardinia is wonderful.

Apartment was excellent. Very comfortable and thoroughly well-equipped, especially the kitchen which made cooking fun. The location was superb with the view onto the bay, right beside the beach yet feeling pretty private. The hosts communicated in advance many times regarding the check-in and the check-out, and the slight problem we had with one of the garden parasols was fixed swiftly and without fuss. They could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

− Two niggles. I wasn't clear that the garden was not private for our apartment only. For the handful of apartments (I think 4), it was their private access to the beach. Having said that, everyone we saw was really friendly and respectful of our space and one local family were utterly charming. Parking was on the road but not designated for the apartments and house there. This meant that if you left your space through the day, visitors to the beach parked there and then one had to find parking on the roadside which was a little hazardous because of the tight bendy roads, or some distance.
