Nice room

− Stove is not working. No pans or pots. I sleep people smoke Marijuana outside.

The Resurrection

The price, the property's resurrection, and the staff. This location was once called The Efficiency Lodge. I'm from Cartersville, and anyone who knows about the Lodges history will tell you that the owners of Southern Suites has resurrected that location and it's reputation, so much so that I past the location twice looking for Southern Suites in an area I knew well and in a highway I traveled frequently. When I called a third time for the directions my voice sounded a bit agitated, but the front desk clerk remained courteous, patient, and kind. This time, the front desk clerk showed her adaptibility skills and decided to go off sketch that was scripted :to put distance between the old and the new lodge, and rightfuly so. The old lodge had become one of Cartersville sore spots. She asked me was I from the area, when I replied yes she quickly said, and I quote; "It's where the efficiency lodge use to be." Had I not seen how nice the rooms were before hand, my first instinct would have been to say thank you, but no thank you. I'm glad that I didn't. The rooms were exactly like the pictures. New floors, new amenities, new appliances, and a comfortable bed with night lights in the head board. I'm a regular Great touch! Great job!
