2.0My husband and I researched this hotel for our honeymoon and decided to go because of the reviews. We were very taken back by our whole experience at this hotel. Mostly because of the service when arriving and departing. When we arrived we waited at the tables to be checked in for over an hour, without anyone coming and offering us any drinks or food (after travelling hours to get to this hotel). The same thing happened when we were leaving and checking out. The staff did apologize afterwards and said they thought we were waiting for a cab and then offered us a free drink at the hotel but we do not drink. Our hotel room also smelt terrible in the evenings when going to bed (it was a sewage like odour).

10.0Stay was great! Great area, friendly staff, and grounds were beautiful the hotel! The only thing it was a bit noisy where our room was located and since they have uneven cement flooring we heard all the room service carts go by when in the room.

10.0Very lovely and peaceful. Beautiful spot. There is no need for the weird spa music which seems odd because the birds sound perfect. Natural and beautiful. No spa weird music needed.

10.0We had a wonderful time at Hotel du Convent. The property has been beautifully restored and the gardens and grounds are so inviting. Very relaxing. Staff is extremely helpful and service is impeccable. We stayed in a King room with balcony overlooking the gardens. Will definitely return to the hotel when visiting Nice. I checked out several hotels on this visit and Hotel du Convent stands above all others.
