10.0The cottage was very quaint. We had everything we needed. There was a good bit of traffic and noise during the day, but died down at night. We were close to town and restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed very much.

8.0It was lovely, felt pretty safe. Just a bit too close to the road. Very cozy though and a wonderful bed, I slept like a baby.
Plusses/Minuses but a great stay overall!
8.0Unit was basically clean; maybe wouldn't have passed a white glove test in some areas but it is after all in a grove of trees. The description of "15 yds from lake" is probably correct BUT lake was nowhere to be seen from the unit, disappointing. Many lovely lakes are not far, however, and my son took me to them. I was gone during the day so can't comment on that, but evenings/nights the property itself was quiet. Traffic on the road running directly past the property was pretty constant through the night, with occasional sirens, but I'm used to that so slept well. Bed was very comfortable. two sets of outlets in bathroom did not work; the set right by the sink was the most inconvenient. I did not call about it, though, but did a work-around thanks to the moveable make-up mirror. Everything needed was provided, well, almost ... no washcloths in the bathroom. Fortunately there's a WalMart nearby. All in all, wonky comments above notwithstanding, it was a good week in a beautiful location, and a good place to spend it. My son's house will probably be finished when I come back to the area, but I would probably book this cozy studio again if it isn't.
