Notre hôte a été réactif à nos demandes et nous avons vraiment apprécié séjourner dans le cœur du village hanok.

L’établissement était très bien situé au cœur du quartier touristique. L’hôte a été d’une aide précieuse.

− Une raclette pourrait être utile afin de pouvoir racler l’eau de la salle de bain après la douche. On peut sentir beaucoup les ressorts du matelas dans la chambre pour 2 personnes. Dans la plus grande chambre, nous avons testé les futons au sol comme les vrais coréens ! Pas évident pour des nord américains comme nous mais nous avons quand même apprécié l’expérience, c’est ce que nous recherchions!

The host was wonderful. He took his time to explain everything about the accommodation and the Hanok Village. He recommended places to see and eat. He prepared us for possible noise, as the walls are thin, but we were happy as our neighbors were quiet. Also sleeping on a mat wasn't too bad. I would definitely recommend.

Abbiamo passato solo una notta in questo hanok, posizionato in pieno centro di Jeonju. L'hanok è molto ricco di fascino, la stanza piccola ma dotata di ogni confort e il letto è il tradizionale letto alla coreana per terra. Il giardino è davvero grazioso e piacevole. La struttura si trova i pieno centro, a due passi dai musei e monumenti principali. Quello che pero' abbiamo decisamente apprezzato di più è stato il proprietario che ci ha datto un sacco di buoni consigli per esplorare Jeonju e gustare le bontà locali con un'attenzione particolare alle nostre abitudini vegetariane. Davvero una bella esperienza!

− Il letto è tradizionale, ovvero lo yo che si posa direttamente sul pavimento. A noi non ha arrecato fastidio, anzi ha aggiunto fascino all'esperienza. Ma se avete difficoltà a dormire per terra dovreste prendere questa cosa in considerazione.

The host made the whole visit very worth it. We booked 2 nights, not really understanding that you're really supposed to sleep on the floor. The host explained the concept very well and also recommended the best restaurants and activities in town. He also mentioned that there's a extra matress if sleeping on the floor is unbearable.

− It was tough sleeping on the floor, and maybe it would have been better with only one night. The extra matress was only 90 wide, which is a bit small for 2 people.

The complete hanok experience

The location is excellent and close to everything in the hanok village. This is the traditional hanok experience with the warm floor and sleeping mat. The Internet connection is good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

− The noise from other guests can be a problem if you have to wake very early.
