Amazing value for money, well appointed and a great location

The location was fine for visiting family in Didsbury. The apartment was okay for the price.

− The apartment smelt of food, like someone had just cooked a chilli. It lingered all weekend. The place was cold when we arrived as the heating had not been prepared for our arrival. It took a phone call to find out how to sort the heating out. The wi-fi didn't work - this was eventually sorted but made life difficult for the first evening. We also found rubbish under the chest of drawers in the bedroom so clearly had not been hoovered properly. The neighbours in the block could be heard very clearly so the sound proofing was not very good. There was hair in the shower.

It was spotless, great location staff were excellent. Highly recommend this beautiful property

The apartment was beautiful and cosy and just what me and my little family needed for our 2 night stay. Other than a few issues we encountered with cleaning and heating - which were promptly dealt with and compensated for - I felt the overall stay was great and we felt like staying longer if it was possible. It has a contemporary style and decor throughout with a tv in one of the bedrooms as well as in the lounge which made it easier for my family to watch in their own space and time. I loved the two bathrooms as well one being en-suite so I could keep an eye on my newborn whilst using the facilities. I wasn’t aware the boiler had a certain amount of hot water which I’m not used to as I’ve only ever stayed in hotels, so I ended up using all the hot water and we didn’t have any til the following day - this was a downside to my stay I’d say, but that’s probably more my fault as I wasn’t aware most apartments have these kinds of boilers. Parking was provided at an additional cost on the premises but off road parking was available for my family to come visit if need be, everything was quite straight forward however Booking.com didn’t mention the deposit that was to be taken after booking, which did seem a little extra but didn’t take long to do and I can understand the need to it but just fyi for anyone looking to book. Overall I’d say I enjoyed the stay and would probably look to book again in future if needed despite some teething issues.

Really nicely finished property, comfortable, be nice for a longer stay. It’s close to the 192 bus route into manchester which runs all night which is useful. Davenport also has a few nice pubs and cafes to eat in. It’s flat is comfortable and spacious.

− Little out of the way but with planning that is fine. Was a bit of hassle communicating with the bookings team but they were pleasant enough. It’s not communicated on bookings.com well that you have to pay a deposit.
