This property was clean and adequate. The host was very responsive when I called with questions. The area is very nice and close to a lovely walking trail and many restaurants. Unfortunately I did not read the property description well as I was not anticipating having to carry my luggage up an entire flight of stairs to get to a second floor apartment. This was extremely inconvenient. Additionally the photos show a large deck but this unit is not connected to that deck so it is misleading. The door to the unit is almost entirely glass with no curtain or window covering which I did not like at all. Especially since the door to the bathroom is right inside the glass door to the outside. The listing also mentions a bbq grill but the grill is in an overgrown area with very tall grass and weeds growing through the grill. I hadn’t planned on using the grill but if I had this would have been problematic as I’m not even sure if the grill works and it would require lots of clean up from the weeds before trying to use.

I stayed for a week conference being held at the Capt Cook hotel. I actually enjoyed my stay here at the waterfront rather than the hotel itself. Quiet, nice park in front. Does require stairs to access. Super comfy and clean inside. Washer/dryer avail which was a big plus. Internet worked great. Thank you!!

Lovely little spot for a get away
