The owners do stay upstairs. Think it is good to make sure that the places taken care of better. There's a motherly feel with the property. Like somebody really was trying to take care of you making sure everything you need is there. Call the little things like extra things in the bathroom and kitchen even a really nice big TV. And it's very safe driving up the road to the cabin. I had a problem with another place I have a leave early cuz I could not drive up there so dangerous. It's actually very safe for wide world is lots of gravel and it's not very steep

An absolute gem in the rental world!

We have never stayed in a more accommodating rental! Everything we needed was provided, and I do mean everything. Kathy and Jim have really thought through every aspect of what a traveler would not only need, but what would be nice extras. The space was super clean, very cozy and inviting; we were tempted to just stay right there for three days enjoying the provisions and the natural beauty of the place. The host and hostess are "people persons" and it was a pleasure to get to know them. They went the extra mile in every way.

The apartment was so cozy and inviting! Our time spent in West Jefferson was relaxing and fun! Jim and Kathy were perfect hosts. The space is beautiful, very clean and full of surprises. We especially loved being able to stay in and prepare a couple of meals and not have to go out. The pantry was well stocked with anything we could have needed. Kathy even provided coffee, creamer and small bottles of OJ. We enjoyed using the popcorn machine as a treat while we relaxed too! We will definitely be planning another trip soon.
