− The beds were very bad. You can feel the springs. I was concerned about the damage already there as it was not stated in any description, and as there is a security deposit of 250 for any damages so I had to take photos upon arrival.

It was nice but I don’t think it’s worth the £250 deposit though.

The beds were beautiful, I liked where the house was too. Close to the centre and also close to the shopping part. The neighbours were nice and friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is beautiful. I did like the shower it was very nice. I liked it was close to the doc museum and you can drive to the beach also some nice nature walks you can go on.

− The broken stuff ie the coffee table. The cooker. The bed side tables. The blind in the downstairs bedroom was broken. The dog howling all day everyday until the evening. Ie next door. The tv you couldn’t really watch because of the Ariel. You need a new one. All the fag nubs in the back garden was shocking. It isn’t the quiet property as described until 11pm.

Appalling waste of money, don't smoke never smoked do not want to inhale stale cigarette odours.

Location was ok regards centre of town

− Had not been cleaned when I arrived dirty dishes in the sink (I arrived at 17:10 check in was 15:00), rolling tobacco on the floor general smell of smoking throughout the ground floor. All bedrooms in disarray. Cleaner turned up after I arrived showed them the mess and they started cleaning. I left for a few hours on my arrival did not unpack. Fortunately my partner and the dogs could not come with me as I would have left to find another location as she would have read the riot act, and I would not let my dogs stay there. On my return ground floor still stank of stale cigarettes and all the windows were open (my kit still in there) I had ridden my motorcycle from London earlier so tired and nowhere available to stay in Barrow. I stayed the night and left at 8:45 the next day. No way would I stay there another night appalling, no answer to my emails. Plenty of automated emails through the days leading up to and during the stay (Turn them off). TV did not work but that is ground floor and I got away from the smell asap. Could not have a shower split hose spraying water over the top of the cubicle so everything in the bathroom gets wet. Absolute waste of money. Not sure a location should be offering to enter you into a prize draw for a good review, guess I am not in the draw.

I’d rather stay in an overcrowded pigsty - absolutely disgusting and horrendous customer service!

There was nothing to like about the property - we left without hesitation because the state of the facilities and building overall were absolutely disgusting. This property should not be allowed to provide accommodation for people, let alone families.

− The cleanliness of the place was worse than I have ever seen. A tramps underwear would be cleaner. There were cables hanging out of the wall, mould everywhere, rubbish under the bed, left over food in the freezer from previous visits, cigarette ends in the back yard, horrendous smell of damp and sweaty mongs!

Please don't go by the pictures, they are just of the bedroom and kitchen. The rest is like living in the roughest neighborhoods of Uk. There's dirty nappies, old carpets, rubbish & mattresses, all across the street. Most of the properties there are boarded up. There's NO parking. The property management didn't have our place ready until 7pm on the day of arrival. We had to sit in our car to wait for them. We had driven 6 hours, from the south. It was raining and we were tried. When we got in, there were lots of issues with the property. When you call the number there was no answer, you get an automated response saying, we know you called us, we'll be in touch soon. THEY DON'T COME BACK TO YOU. I managed to get hold of them through expedia and the lady was very rude to me. Please don't bother to book this place. You'll have to park lots of streets away to avoid permit parking areas. We had booked for 6 people, so we had 2 cars. This area is NOT SAFE for women. Don't walk down those streets alone. I really wish i could share picture that i took of the property. It's like a horror story!
