− The property itself was clean until the first day. There was two roaches that crawled out of the bathroom and I have pictures in my phone.

it was within walking distance to the downtown area, which is a fun little place to visit

− when we booked, we did not realize we had to walk up a flight of stairs. I’m not sure it might’ve been 17 or so. Maybe less but when you’re elderly, it’s a little much little scary sometimes in the dark plus we were told the walls were thin and they were. And we had picked up a guest from the airport at 11:20 PM so it was kind of difficult to be quiet when it was New Year’s Eve so anyway, but we did enjoy it and it was very clean.

− Where to begin... I'll start small and get to the worst... Not until after booking this hotel were we notified that the walls are very thin. The direct quote from their message AFTER booking: "although this is a private apartment, you will hear noise from the adjacent unit. Guest should know the walls are thin in the property". And of course the booking is non-refundable. We heard a tenant talking on the phone at what seemed a normal level, and it sounded like he was in the room with us. But the first thing I really noticed was the smell. A mix of musty mold and animals. We opened all of the windows immediately to try and air it out, but still smelt awful by the time we left. I kept some of my clothes and luggage in the car to make sure the smell didn't stick to them. We decided to stay because we would hardly be in the apartment, and didn't really have another option since there are no hotels in town. But the absolute worst unforgiveable part of this stay was when we found a sex toy and men's underwear from some other guest in our room. Shocked and absolutely disgusted that they wouldn't have found this cleaning, especially when the owner described that they need to lift the bed to change the sheets. DOES THAT MEAN THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE SHEETS BEFORE OUR STAY????? I've requested the owner refund their absurd $75 cleaning fee and so far they've ghosted me. Stay far away from this property.
