Poor property and not represented properly on booking.com site..........misleading.
2.0Apartment was pleasant and front room and bedrooms was comfortable. Beds comfy.
− Kitchen was small., oven filthy, glassware filthy kitchenware dirty. Microwave badly placed above a sink which is a serious safety issue, this needs to be moved!!! ...too high to reach and the door opening unable to put food in if you are left handed, plus you could have an accident when placing food in microwave, clearly this was not thought through. Cobwebs and dead spiders on ceiling corners. Toilet roll holder crooked and keeps falling off. Dirty towels supplied . TV is not a TV as no aerial .....misrepresentation have to use phone apps to use TV..... No hairdryers as listed.....told owner who did nothing. Key box holder by ground next to door .....very difficult to open .....have to go down on your knees. No door number , and outside water drain pipe missing so water pouring onto floor and wall . No instruction manual about amenities in local area and that should be in the property. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket sitting on top of microwave.....to high to reach, as I am 5ft 2in tall Toaster is also damaged and smokes when toast placed. This property simply not acceptable for rental and priced to high.........it should be 50% less. No bins outside to throw rubbish as bin overflowed but there was rubbish as bottom of stairs leading from kitchen door, so this could create rats. This apartment clearly had not been serviced correctly and it was dirty. Booking..com needs to look into this......as I am deeply upset as I came for my anniversary and it was a great disappointment.
A proper nightmare
2.0The property itself was nice and and spacious for our needs.
− Everything started with the wrong foot when the host contacted me saying that the property was advertised in different platforms and another client had booked it at the same time. She offered a similar property and I accepted it. Our experience was horrendous and we did not have hot water on our entire stay. We reported the problem several times, they sent a maintenance guy over an over, but the problem was not solved. She offered to go to another property to at least have a shower and, of course, the other property had exactly the same issue with the boiler, so we had to go back and spend 3 days without a hot shower, with 2 kids. Unacceptable. She did not offer any compensation so I intend to make a formal claim to booking.com to report it on other channels. Working myself in this company, I felt outraged, disappointed and ashamed.
For seeing Northumberland a good site, but the location a little worrying, car was damaged whilst parked overnight, hous
9.0Ideal for exploring the coast of Northumberland, property modernised well and well presented.
− Area located, plus kitchen need revamping and tight re space. The apartment underneath had a guy who snored so loud it kept us awake!

10.0We spent 3 nights at this apartment in Newbiggin. The apartment itself is lovely, clean, and well-equipped; a real home away from home. Please note that the location of the accommodation is within a residential estate and is a terraced block. We were able to hear noise and conversations from neighbouring properties and so felt very conscious of our own noise levels when in the apartment. The town is very small and not very 'touristy' which we loved as it was so chilled and quiet at the beaches and the parking is free at both Newbiggin and nearby Blyth. Overall, a lovely mini-break- would definitely return 😊
Highly recommneded
10.0Amazing stay! The apartment has clearly recently been refurbished, everything seemed brand new. Very well equipped, everything you need in the kitchen and more. The rooms were larger than we expected. We had already done our research and looked on Google maps and street view so knew it was situated in a residential area, no problems there. It was quiet and didn't really see many people. A shop around the corner and a short walk to the sea front. We had a fantastic 4 day bank hol break here, can highly recommend.
Very good
