8.0As long as you are aware of the type of property it is, it’s great! I am not too far removed from college, so sharing a hall bathroom was no problem for me. I was able to figure out parking pretty easily. It was a lovely place to stay, and quite literally in the center of all the downtown action! I had an issue with temperature control, but the admin were very quick to respond and helped me find a solution. Make sure you figure out a parking plan, and bring ear plugs or white noise, you may have a next door neighbor with sleep apnea not yet on a cpap, and the walls are somewhat thin (as expected in an early 20th century building). Overall, great place to stay if you’re willing to live boarding-house style

4.0I did not expect luxury, but the lack of a mirror in the room, only a single towel per person (no washcloth) and no TV - but the bathrooms - I guess I did not understand that this was a hostel.....

4.0Room and bathroom areas were dirty. Im sorry . . . Very noisy at night too. Location was good but the property was not clean. No TV either and community restrooms too not great!

10.0It’s the best value in Newport. Okay, there’s no TV, no refrigerator & parking can be problematic. (Mary St lot is $30 overnight) So did you go to Newport to sit in your room? Walk out your door & be in the center of EVERYTHING! Can’t wait to return.
