Excellent villa in Ravello with a view to die for
10.0I stayed 2 nights in the upper room. While the room was small (enough for a person, maybe two but without much luggage, no closet for clothes), the view from the three terraces/balconies was a dream - the old stone church, the majestic trees, the terraces with lemon trees, the sparkling blue sea and the coast. Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. They can bring you breakfast on the terrace, food was good (adding some veggies would be nice). The room was very elegant and super clean. Luisa from the front desk waited for me at the bus/taxi stop and somebody else carried my luggage. Ravello was the only place not crowded from the Amalfi coast and this added to the charm of the village. I would definitely stay at villa Barluzzi again!!

An unforgettable experience!
10.0Everything! An amazing restoration of an old church, flamboyantly decorated with works of art including hand painted floor tiles and antique furniture. We stayed in the Icaro room, which is massive and has vaulted ceilings, as it used to be the chapel itself. There was a little private garden, a French balcony with expansive views of Amalfi coast and a bathroom with its own cupola! This room really needs to be seen to be believed. Breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful. The place is fit for royalty but the price is accessible to mere mortals. A once in a lifetime treat.
