We actually ended up at another property as there was an issue with the heating at this apartment

− The new property was larger but had similar views and quality of fit out so Pure serviced made sure we had a good stay. Finding there office to pick up the keys was not so easy but all good from there on in.

Really 5 Corkscrews and no Egg Cups...Attention to Detail!!!

The main picture depicts the entrance area and front of the main building however flat 7, "Churchill's residence" is situated at the rear of the property. Three of the windows in the picture above depict a one bed room flat 9 apartment. I have stayed in this, as I have stayed in many over the last 7 months in and around Plymouth. Flat 9 is much higher spec and better value I did like the bed. The view of the gardens I guess are worth it but as I departed each morning for work and arrived home again after work each occasion being in the hours of darkness so did not see the views as it was winter.

− For a supposed posh or upmarket apartment so many things left a lot to be desired. The TV on the wall has not been placed correctly or central over the fire place and detracts and lacks attention to detail There are 5 corkscrews in the kitchen area but no egg cups, looks like the owners have different priorities. Could do with an extra settee or decent armchair, the huge cushion took up all the space on the one chair which was not that comfortable. The owners advertise as Churchills Residence but not one mention of this or any reference to the great man himself staying in this building during the second world war. How poor and again attention to detail. Though the owners did see fit to put up some carboot style artwork showing pulp fiction which to my untrained eye lacks imagination . They would be better to locate a picture of the former prime minister and or his biography on the coffee table. Why not put up a bit of a montage of who he was and when and why he stayed..... Again attention to detail. Why bother to call it one thing but then not really market the connection. I guess they just want the money and don't give a stuff. The apartment next door does a far better job. Another gripe, especially with reference to apartments 8 and 9, which use the same mini entrance.....they have key boxes outside their respective front doors as again they are also rental let's this is great, wondererful..... However with reference to number 7 there is a requirement to trapse all the way into the Plymouth Hoe area to show ID, pay a deposit (card only) and collect the key, and again return to the rental company Pure Service. ( So two visits in total) This is in this day and age a really naff procedure.

The location and facilities of the apartment were just right. We would be happy to stay there again.

− Some of the information about the apartment and parking left a lot to be desired. E.G. we arrived after collecting the keys looking for Churchils apartment and after circumnavigating the building l put my glasses on and the small print said it was no 7 Reynolds, confusing. The car parking arrangements were also in need of some clarity. But with the help of a couple of residents we sorted things out and had a great time.

Stunning apartment, beautifully decorated in a wonderful historic building, very close to city centre. Brilliant views out of the window. Considering there are lots of apartments, it was very quiet.

− I had to pick up and drop off the keys from an entirely different location in the city centre which was a bit inconvenient. The parking spaces allocated to the apartment aren’t marked, which makes it a bit tricky to find which one is yours amongst many others.
