Hôtel original mais des choses à revoir

A beautiful hotel dating from 1904, fully renovated, with a unique character; the rooms (only 8) are tastefully and originally decorated. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Eden. Chic atmosphere, cosy lounge with a piano, dining room, a very large and pleasant restaurant-bar, and terraces. Room No. 7: lovely view of the ocean (if you ignore the car park and the outbuildings at the rear of the hotel). Cosy room, with no partition between the bedroom and the bathroom. Très bel hôtel datant de 1904, entièrement rénové, original, chambres (8 seulement) décorée avec goût et originalité. Hôtel située en plein centre d'Eden. Ambiance chic, salon cosy avec piano, dining room, trés grand restaurant-bar très sympa, terrasses. Chambre n7: belle vue vers l'océan (en faisant abstraction du parking et des dépendances de l'arrière de l'hôtel). Chambre cosy,sans séparation avec la salle de bains.

− As the bathroom isn’t separate from the bedroom, the toilet is also in the bedroom… Which is very unpleasant, unless you’re travelling alone. The bedroom itself was small. The room wasn’t spotlessly clean and the windows were dirty. A shame, given the view of the ocean. Breakfast was meagre and the person serving us was extremely unpleasant. It was clear that she took no pleasure in serving us. The floor of the room where we had breakfast (the dining room) was dirty, probably from the previous evening’s dinner. La salle de bains n'étant pas séparée de la chambre, les WC se retrouvent également dans la chambre.... Ce qui est trèsdésagréable, à moins de voyager seul. La chambre proprement dite, était petite. La propreté de la chambre n'était pas parfaite et les vitres étaient sales. Dommage pour la vue sur l'océan. Le petit-déjeuner était minime et la personne qui nous servait était extrêmement désagréable. C'était clair que cela ne lui faisait aucun plaisir de servir. La salle où nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner (le dining room) était sale par terre, probablement des dîners de la veiile.
