The grand building was a pleasant surprise compared to other places we have stayed at during our drive across the Nullarbor. The fit out of the hotel and modern vibe was brilliant. The stay was excellent value for money too!

− There were three different lock combinations for the parking gate, the hotel entrance and then the apartment door itself. It has to be said that the hotel is in a very central area of Port Augusta so there were undesirable people wandering and loitering in the nearby streets constantly.

We stayed in Room 1, which is a modern spacious 2 BR / 2 Bathroom apartment accessed by stairs. The showers had rainfall shower heads and good hot water pressure. Having a Full size Fridge was excellent. Good reverse cycle heaters which were definitely needed as it was really cold during our stay. Good pillows.

− Didn't really like the numerous codes to get in, one for car park gate, one for front door and one for room door. I found the beds uncomfortable and the only covering was a very thin summer quilt which was unsuitable for our stay being in the dead of winter. The bathroom(s) very small rectangle basin is not of good design, very difficult for to wash hands, clean teeth or shaving without getting water over the floor / bashing head on the cabinet mirror. BR 2, unfortunately had nowhere to store or hang clothes. Only a bedside table and chair, (needs a wardrobe /tallboy)

The way the staff hung up on me, after they couldn't find the booking I payed for. Then emailed me to leave at 8am because I told them to chase it up as it was their fault. Extremely rude, no bin in the kitchen, 1 chair for the table for a double room. Pathetic people you can call up to sort anything out.

room is clean and modern

− I could hear the person in room next to me very clearly overall not great heard them get up early and walk in and out of their room multiple times in the morning.

Beautiful room, next door to shops

Staff are amazing. And the room is beautiful

− Not so much the property but the car park felt unsafe to leave our car. ( we’re moving and had a trailer exposed)
