9.0Comfy bed, bright fresh room, friendly staff, good meal, welcoming log fire in the bar, lovely 1880s architecture. Right by the railway station, so great for train enthusiasts.
− The frayed carpet on the stairs needs replacing, and it will be grand when the balcony can be opened again. But hey - the new owners are doing a terrific job at renovation, and "Rome wasn't built in a day".
