The property was spacious and well laid out. It had all the necessary furnishings and extras. It was very comfortable, has an amazing view and is only a short walk to the village center and beach.

The villa has potential thanks to its beautiful location and lovely garden, but in its current condition it is not suitable for a multi-night stay.

− Here you go: We booked this villa for 11 nights (23 March – 3 April 2026) with a small group of 3 adults. Upon arrival, we decided to leave and not spend a single night. The combination of multiple issues made the property unsuitable for our stay. Why we left immediately At the front door, a large, worn and dirty mat was blocking the door, making it barely possible to open upon arrival. Not a pleasant welcome. At first glance, the property appeared to have been cleaned, but on closer inspection it had only been cleaned superficially. The living room also had a musty smell, which immediately made the prospect of staying there unpleasant. There was only one small sofa in the living room where three adults could barely sit together. For a villa marketed as suitable for multiple guests, this is completely insufficient seating. We could not relax comfortably at all. There was a table with some wooden chairs, but that is no substitute for proper living room seating. The property was very cold upon arrival and there was no form of heating whatsoever. As a solution, the host pointed to some old woollen blankets that were already present in the villa — and that gave no fresh feeling. This is not an acceptable alternative to basic heating. The bathrooms were outdated and did not match the expectations set by the listing. The beds were hard, uncomfortable and not suitable for a longer stay. How the situation was handled We contacted both the host and Booking.com to request a refund, as we demonstrably did not use the property. The host withheld €510.85 as ‘cancellation fees’, even though this was not a voluntary cancellation. Booking.com was unable to resolve the dispute. We ultimately lost approximately €500 for a stay of 0 nights.

Das alleinstehende Ferienhaus verfügt im Obergeschoss über zwei Schlafzimmer, davon eines mit Zugang zu einem Balkon, und ein Badezimmer, im Untergeschoss über ein weiteres Badezimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und eine Küche. Von der Terrasse mit Steingarten im Untergeschoss sowie vom Balkon im Obergeschoss bietet sich ein sehr schöner Panorama-Rundblick aufs Meer und den Ort Vila Baleira. Es liegt nahe genug am Meer, um das Meeresrauschen hören zu können. Das sehr freundliche Vermieter-Team reagiert schnell auf Anfragen und Anliegen.
