Beautifully restored retro motel with spotless rooms
10.0Fantastic stay in a beautifully restored retro motel. Stayed 2 nights with our dog in a spotlessly clean room, fridge, microwave and Keurig machine in room, as well as an armchair and small table with 2 chairs. Upstairs there’s a small room where you can get ice and more K cups but which also had paper plates, cutlery and cups. Bathroom is small but equipped with a great shower and lovely Beekman 1802 toiletries. Great, friendly owners. Reasonable rates for the area and time of year. Ordered food via door dash delivered to our room and would have walked into Traverse City downtown areas if our dog was not elderly.
Great motel
10.0The is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. My second stay and will stay again. Owners are very nice.
1950’s cherry of a stay
10.0This is a great mom and pop motel. You can tell they take great care of the place. Rooms are really clean, well furnished, cozy. Large fridge and microwave which is great when you have food allergies. (And the chocolate was allergy friendly which was a HUGE treat for me!) Comfy bed, bath products, coffee, charging for electronics were provided. Furnishings are top notch. Plenty of hot water. One of the best showers I have taken on a trip. Easy check in and out, owners are friendly and helpful and easily reached. Is it walkable to all the things? Some street noise but with the ac and my fan app we were fine. Well we did a lot of walking around the beach park and downtown so not for us. Otherwise, maybe. Plenty of parking wherever you go though. Would definitely come back!
Great place for cool cats
10.0This is a fabulously remodeled mom and pop motel. Very clean, great attention to detail and comfort in the rooms. Coffee, mugs, microwave,bath products, a nice sized fridge. Place to charge electronics by bed. On a personal note, having food allergies it was a real treat to be able to eat the chocolate! Thank you!!! Nice owners, very helpful and easy to reach, offered us water when arriving and leaving. You can tell they care about the place. It is walkable to the beach park and downtown, but we did so much walking in the town area it would have to much not to drive. Easy parking everywhere at least when we were there.
