1.0− When we arrived at Blouberg Heights, Bloubergstrand, South Africa on Tuesday, 26 May we were unable to access the apartment due to the lifts being out of order. Host Agents neglected to inform us before the time. We then needed to go back home. We need to be refunded. E-mail: wilneth@mweb.co.za

Stunning View, Stifling Heat, and Shocking Service
3.0While Blouberg Heights 603 is a nicely furnished apartment with a truly beautiful view, our experience was unfortunately ruined by poor management and unbearable living conditions.
− The Issues We Encountered: Lack of Communication: The hosting agency only notified us of major building maintenance the day before our arrival. We later found out this work had been planned since October 2025, yet they chose to withhold this information until it was too late for us to make other arrangements. Noise & Heat: For three days, we were subjected to the deafening noise of jackhammers and tar trucks until 20h00 at night. Because of the noise and dust, we had to keep all windows closed during a heatwave. No Climate Control: The apartment has no air conditioning. They promised a second fan to help with the stifling heat, but it never arrived. Poor Service: We requested to be relocated due to the noise and heat, but the agency refused. Following our stay, we reached out multiple times to request a partial refund or a voucher for the inconvenience, but they have ignored every request. Final Verdict It is a shame that such a lovely physical space is run by such unfriendly and unresponsive hosts. Dealing with a heatwave is hard enough; doing it with closed windows, construction noise, and a management team that breaks promises made it a miserable stay.
