10.0− It is important to have staff who possess at least a basic understanding of English. I frequently relied on Google Translate, but on one occasion, my phone's battery was out, and I was unable to find anyone to assist me.
Great hotel, particularly the English speaking Managers
8.0The English speaking Manager Mr Bob Mao was excellent. He took care of everything and beyond including arranging complementary car pick up, arranging coffee on-the-go. Amazing experience.
− The open air hot springs are not most useful during the hot season.

8.0Large modern room with comfortable bed and separate bathtub & shower. Quiet location. Staff do not speak English, which is typical even for Western branded hotels in China. My room smelled a bit like sulfur, strongest near the toilet, but common areas did not. Air conditioner did not work. When reported to front desk, the complaint was met with a shrug. A bit of a walk from the historic area, but a gated walkway serves as a shortcut.
