I expected more
7.0Stunning views and exceptional effort from the staff! Though short-handed, they worked hard to ensure a great stay and kindly gave us complimentary museum tickets to compensate for the initial trouble. The breakfast options were ok, but long waiting time for ordering the specials…
− I expected much more from a five-star hotel. It feels more like an all-inclusive resort. You have to compete for sunbeds and outdoor tables at breakfast. The hotel is clearly understaffed, especially in July when it’s fully booked. At breakfast, there were only two staff members serving over 15 tables, and by 10:30 a.m. there were no glasses or plates left. By the pool, only 1 person doing everything (cocktails, food, umbrellas) so it was not enough for everyone. It just felt like a self service hotel. On top of that, the salad I ordered was rotten (which the staff quickly apologized and made up for that). The staff are doing their best, but they simply can’t keep up. The hotel needs to hire more people to deliver the level of service expected from a five-star property.

Absoluut geen leading hotel of the world, ondanks top locatie

− Management personeel, diverse personeels leden spraken alleen Spaans. Ontbijt is voor dit soort hotel (leading of the world) absoluut onder de maat, met schimmel in het fruit, geen verse vleeswaren/kaas. Als je laat bent voor het ontbijt ziet het buffet er niet uit. Lang gewacht op Ceasar salade. Geen water op de kamer bij aankomst. Zo zijn er nog vele kleine dingen te melden die bijelkaar groot worden. Ik wijt veel aan geen goed Management! En waarom verwarmde wc bril in kamer??? Voelt niet fris aan (mijn mening 😀)
