This is an instagrammers paradise. So many photo op spots beautifully decorated and thought out - but then you look closer and realise things aren’t quite as glam as they seem. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned during our stay - at first I thought it was pest droppings but it was just our mascara from the previous night. The pool area was tidy and clean however…

− For a 4* hotel, the service is 1* The receptionist acted like it was a hassle checking us in. No smiles, no welcome. Just mild irritation and indifference with little information on the room, pool or food/drink. Then the pool staff… horrendous. Apathetic, above it, slow, arrogant, seemingly hated the guests, forgetful, stand-offish and at times almost hostile. Matias was the only notable exception. We had an issue where our sunbeds, belongings and unfinished food and drinks were shoved forward so a workman could smash up the paving behind and around our beds - then - left it! My sister nearly stood on the rubble which would have been a hospital visit for stitches. When I told the woman at the bar initially, she acted like I was the one with the problem. Matias and the female bar manager then sorted it out - a whole hour later. It’s unacceptable treatment of guests for the £1400 price tag of the room for 5 nights, not to mention the extortionate food prices. It left a seriously bad taste in our mouths and I’d not recommend this place to anyone going forward. They don’t seem to really care about you unless you’re an influencer with a sugar daddy and overinflated lips.
