Simple but Deceptive
7.0It was clean and amenities were decent.
− We booked for 6 ppl, the details said there were 2 bedrooms with 2 beds (1 K 1Q) and 1 sofa bed. There were not! There were 2 bedrooms with 2 dbl beds and zero sofa beds. No cots available - we had to go out and buy a blow up mattress!

10.0Super freindly guys at reception. They were so kind and helpful!! The area is nice and the paths are great. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed. We had some amazing sunsets!! Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked.

7.0It was beautiful everywhere you looked! The cottage was mostly updated and very nice.
− The biting flies! We couldn’t escape them. Nothing would repel them. We spent the next week scratching and suffering. Where’s the wildlife? I’ve seen more critters in my urban backyard than I did here. There’s not even a variety of birds! BRING YOUR OWN OUTDOOR CHAIRS! Theirs are awkward, slanted and not comfy. The trails were difficult to find and there was no petting zoo! But I’m grateful still because they accepted my big Dane on the property and the trip was always meant for him and he loved it.

7.0We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the place is clearly managed with care. The cabins are a bit old but cozy and clean, and the bedding was fresh. Unfortunately, we chose cabin 8, which was not ideal. It had no direct access to the water, so we had to walk to the shared beach. There was also a playground right next to our cabin, and children started playing early in the morning, which made it hard to relax. The road is visible from the cabins and the beach, which takes away from the peaceful lake setting. However, the beach itself was nice. The water was clean and the lake bottom was very comfortable for swimming. Inside the cabin, the doors creaked and the taps didn’t work well. The water pressure was inconsistent. If you book a cabin closer to the lake and farther from the playground, it could be a really nice place to stay.
