Just adequate. The mattress was old and lumpy, the linens are threadbare. The apartment reeked of cigarettes; thankfully we were able to keep the windows open. There was soap in only 1 bathroom. Not enough towels. Multiple missing lightbulbs. Haphazard paint job on the walls. The apartment felt dingy. It would be nice to have a couch in the common space, rather than 2 huge dining tables. That said, it was nice to have a kitchen, and the location was fine. I appreciated the ‘welcome’ bottle of wine.

This property was unfortunately a miserable experience. We arrived late at night and we’re given the wrong code to get inside the main entrance. We were fortunate to get in because a tenant forgot to lock the door. Once inside we found the place was very under equipped. We booked for four and we’re only given two towels and no blankets from the sofa bed. The kitchen only had one pot to cook with. We tried getting a hold of the property owner but did not here from them for over ten hours. By this time Expedia had tried getting a hold of them with the same result. Expedia had to check us in to a nearby hotel since the owner could not be reached and we did not have access to the apartment. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Mainly because the owner is not available if there are any issues.

We stayed for one night to see a concert at the Rogers Center. There was tons of shopping, great restaurants all around the neighbourhood & it was a 25 minute leisurely walk to the venue. The loft was clean, good amenities, coffee, wine, lots of dishes & ice in the freezer! The bed was extremely comfortable & the pull out couch was good for a night, would have been passable for a couple more. I would not want to sleep on it for weeks. The bathroom is modern, yet small, but this is completely normal for downtown Toronto. The size & layout of the loft was perfect for my friend, 7 years old daughter & my mother. If you need privacy there is no closed bedroom, but the kitchen is separate from the sleeping area. We appreciated the dryer to fluff up our towels that didn’t dry over night. I would have spent several days there to really get to know the neighbourhood & would have enjoyed everything the loft had to offer. Our host sent all the information we needed in advance & communicated very well. There was no parking directly in front when we arrived, but the host had provided options close so we unloaded & then parked a couple minutes walk away.
