8.0Our stay was very comfortable. The suite was comfort and clean. Had pretty much all that we needed. Friendly staff that were helpful. Location is great. Downside: the internet was non existent.

8.0The check in was quick and efficient at the hotel bar. The room was surprisingly spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. There was also a decent sized kitchenette, far better than many other Motels I’ve stayed at. Salmo is a small town so don’t expect lots of restaurants although there was a local brewery serving food just a couple of minutes walk away as well as the hotel bar. A couple of other stores which were shut by the time I had arrived.

8.0You need to check in at the bar downstairs. Cassie (I think that’s her name) was absolutely wonderful during the check in process. She gave me a hand written welcome note with the door codes and wifi login info. Cassie serves as the housekeeper for the property too. The room (room #5) that I rented was absolutely huge! It was actually a large suite. Everything worked well in the room including the portable air conditioner. Bed was too soft and springy for me though. The traffic noise also gets a bit loud, but that is to be expected with the hotel located right next to the main road. All in all, I would definitely stay there again.
