Really enjoyed a few days relaxation in nice surroundings.
9.0Lovely room in a nice location, overlooking a duck pond. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good time had on the golf course. Pizzas in the pizzaria were lovely.
− The only minus I would give is the continental breakfast. On the menu as a good selection of pastries. That selection was croissant, croissant, or croissant!
Not as guest focused as it should be, or pretends to be, underwhelming.
5.0The facilities and staff were good
− I was expecting much better, and reception and leisure facilities that closes at 8pm isn't particularly useful and being rushed to drop your bag so you can get to the restaurant in time to have dinner, is a pretty poor check in experience.
laceby feels like a much needed escape
9.0The staff were extremely friendly and supportive throughout our stay. We constantly felt a warm welcome and the environment was overall very tranquil in nature. A perfect escape from busy city life, felt like a completely different part of the uk.
− The location itself is a bit separate from town life so getting to see sites was a mission however the staff still offered support throughout and made all our movements pretty seamless
